Praise, My Soul!
So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow.

Sometimes it’s the tiniest of things which catch your eye. Here in church, on a glorious summer day, it was the small vase on the welcoming table, with snippets taken from the garden. The gold of the Lonicera foliage contrasted beautifully with the vivid scarlet of the Salvia, interspersed with small, white Daisies.
Elsewhere, the fresh glowing yellow of Alstromeria was the perfect foil to the deep, magnificent purple of the King’s Emperor Buddleia.
When you next pop into church, take a good look around; you never know what joyous gift offerings of fresh flowers have been made in thanks to God.
Praise my soul the King of Heaven are apt words indeed!
