It is always a joy to see flowers in church (except, of course, during Lent and Advent). The Christmas flowers always seem to be especially uplifting with hints of gold set amongst the deep reds, brilliant white and fresh greenery as we celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ.
In keeping with the simplicity of our rural church, the arrangements are uncomplicated, placed with care at the back of the altar, on the organ and on the Welcome table.
In addition, fresh foliage arrangements were placed, with candles, on the stained-glass window ledges.
We are always grateful for the generous donations of money, greenery and flowers that members of the congregation give us. A huge thank you to all concerned.

We all have special memories; loved ones no longer with us, anniversaries, christenings, weddings. Many people choose to mark these events with flowers in church; if you are interested in doing likewise, please contact us; we are more than happy to help with arranging them.
Ss Simon & Jude might be a humble church, but with your help, encouragement, and of course donations, we are able to show how much it is loved. Thank you everyone.
Flowers were given on 20th December 2022 by Valerie, Andrew, Thomas and James in loving memory of Joan Ena Pitt, who passed away in 2016.
